I was inspired by the material sphere of the opal embedded into the tree fossil and created my idea all around that theme. I then began thinking about things like films and artwork that inspired me.
I liked the idea of glowing things so I decided to go with it and I also have an infatuation with lights which is why I made my scene for my environment in a cave with a glowing portal hidden inside.
I also liked the idea of portals leading to a world that’s completely different from ours.
Lara Croft from Tomb Raider was also one of my inspirations for the character because I love the game and even though she is wearing simple thing she fits it.
I liked the starting scene of the Tomb Raider so much that I used it as an inspiration for my environment.
Post apocalyptic clothing also inspired me and the Resident evil was also perfect for it.
I also looked at walking dead clothing.
I was inspired by the pirates of the caribbean ride at disney and liked the idea of putting different things in the scene.
I looked at cave environments online to get some inspiration and as to how they are formed.
I mainly focused on caves, portals and pillars to overall combine the image i had in mind for my environment concept.

For week 5, we started making material spheres which would benefit us for our portfolio brief and I decided to do the materials above, only did five because I couldn’t think of anything else to do but I might update this post when I find three more.
This game is a narrative interactive game kind of based on the TV series but in someone else’s point of view. It goes through the zombie apocalypse from the beginning and you go through the journey as the main characters which may make you feel emotionally attach to them. (no spoilers here… maybe)
I originally went for the title Audrey’s Infernal Dream but changed at to ‘The Infernal Dream’ because it sounded more official and rolls off of the tongue more than ‘Audrey’s Infernal Nightmare. I looked towards my inspiration and made something that correlates with my game and its style. I have also sketched out an idea for the still image of my video on a kickstarter video platform.I
I have created the subheadings and demonstrated it in the image above using the same typography and style as the title design I came up with. I decided to highlight the more important word so that the viewer would know first thing what it’s going to be about and it will hopefully catch their eye.
